ABSTRACT
Lipoma arborescens is a rare, benign process that is characterized by the proliferation of mature adipocytes. It is frequently seen in the knee joint and unilateral. Lipoma arborescens causes complaints such as pain, swelling and limited joints. Direct radiography, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging and histological examination can be used for diagnosis. There are conservative and surgical intervention alternatives. In this case, we aimed to show that lipoma arborescens may cause only limitation of the joint (without swelling/pain) and advantages of ultrasonography in diagnosis and conservative treatment options in lipoma arborescens.
